Japan 2 - Saudi Arabia 3

The last Asian Cup game to be held in Vietnam and possibly the best. Saudi were excellent with 4 Viv Andersons in defense and had hired hundreds of Vietnamese to support them..

Hoi An

Recommended in a previous post, Zero Seamile has taken a serious U-turn after their impressive opening and is best avoided.

However, a stunning rooftop bar at Phuoc An Hotel, is well worth the visit. Half way between the beach and the town, lying close to the river, the bar offers panoramic views across the countryside, villages and sea.

Click on the image for a full 180' panaroma view over the town.

Prao

A friendly town, 100km West of DaNang - full of character and wicked Ruou.

Hamburger Hill

Home of the notorious battle in 1969, Laos tribes moved to this desolate area in 1975. Now they have thriving communities which have expanded to include tour guides for exploring the hill.

A Luoi

The road from Khe Sanh follows the Da Krong River and cuts through spectacular forest.

Khe Sanh

20km from the Laos border, the home of a former US Marine outpost and ordnance graveyard, Khe Sanh is a tad odd.
