Ho Dai Lai

Only 20km from Hanoi International airport and less than an hour from central Hanoi, Dai Lai Lake is a world apart. Although not short of lakes, Hanoi lacks any peace and tranquility which is what Dai Lai is all about.

Dong Cau

Surrounded by mountains, villages and rice fields, Dai Lai is buzzing with local life.

Cambodia

The 300 km Highway from Saigon to Phnom Penh is sealed, straight, flat and very fast....

Kep

Once the premier destination of the Cambodian highrollers, Kep-sur-Mer was destroyed by both the Khymer Rouge and the Vietnamese 'liberators'. Now a peaceful palm fringed headland it is only a matter of time before the 'good times' return....

Rabbit Island

There is absolutely nothing to do on 'Koh Tonsay' except eat, drink, swim and sleep.
No wonder the locals are so happy.

Bokor

A difficult 3 hour ride through Bokor National Park leads to the abandonded French Hill Station, one kilometer above sea level. Offering panoramic views, the ghostly town is home only to the Rangers in their battle against the poachers.

Kampot

The guide book listed 'Things to see and do in Kampot' as visit Bokor (41km) and Kep (24km).

Needless to say, there is not a lot in the town but its a peaceful spot if you have a few novels to read.

Sihanoukville

Despite Sihanoukville's notorious seedy underbelly, 'Serendipity Beach' is a great place to spend New Year....
